A Message from the Transfer Center Director
Greetings and welcome to the Transfer Center!
The Transfer Center is committed to preparing
students for a smooth and successful transition to a four-year
college or university. Our goal is to empower you with the
tools you need to make informed choices pertaining to your transfer
planning. If you are a Highline student who is planning to transfer
to a four-year school anytime in the future, we can help.
We offer the following services and resources:

Help review pre-requisites for your major, general education and other transfer requirements. The Educational Planning and Advising Center can also assign you a faculty adviser who can help you with your major planning. Stop by Building 6, upper level, to sign up for an adviser.

Help you locate admission information to four-year colleges & figure out deadlines.

Use our Center computers to search for colleges and scholarships and fill out appliations online.

Access our library of printed college handbooks, some catalogs, scholarship manuals and university transfer publications. See the Transfer Library for a list of available resources.

Refer you to workshops such as How to Write a Winning Personal Statement and sessions on transferring in specific majors. See our calendar for events. We also host two college fairs a year and invite college representatives to meet with students on campus either by appointment or by hosting a drop-in information table in the Highline Student Union.

Help you with questions related to the college application.
Remember: Early planning is truly the key to a successful transfer!
